Solo (Mark I)

When I saw my friend Vick's cosplays for Jaina Solo I was totally struck with massive inspiration to create this. It took over 20 layers and overall some really fun thinking to design a cover that would look legit for a hardcover Star Wars novel. In the Star Wars EU this would have to take place after LOTF (Legacy of the Force) due to the title's double meaning of "Solo" (and if you haven't read LOTF I hope I haven't spoiled it but then again if you've seen this picture I already have... lol). I consider this my most ambitious piece of photoshop renders to date but it turned out pretty awesome. Creating another sun from scratch was a pain in the ass though but totally worth it!
